Did you hear about a very successful f r e e i p o d s.com marketing campaign?
Featured in such major on-line news resources as Wired
and EndGadget,
it spread a wave of interest across the country, giving away thousands of
items. It's is quite probable that you were one of those lucky people!

But you can be sure that the company behind this program was not dispatching
the gadgets out of some altruistic reasons or in order to promote them, they
have a lot of promotion anyway. To get the prize members of the program had
to sign up for a certain on-line promotion ( like AOL, or Ancestry.com trials)
and get five other people to follow suit.

But on average only 10-15% of all participants
manage to persuade five their friends to sign up. And for every new members,
supplied to their sponsors, organizers obtain up to 90 dollars. Simple arithmetics
shows that with item price around 250$ this campaign works out really well for
its organizers.

It's a completely new, legitimate and effective form of marketing! And you can become
part of it.

If anyone is interested in selling their elementary Spanish textbook IMAGENES with cd-rom and or workbook manual, I am interested in buying.

Spanish Texts Aug. 20th, 2004 @ 05:53 pm
I'm taking Elementary Spanish as a freshman in the fall at BC, and the school just put up the website that allows you to search for what books you need in your classes. I found almost all of them on half.com for a lot less.... but some of the spanish books i need are expensive, and I can't find them on there. If anyone has and is done with any of these books and is willing to sell them @ a lesser price, please let me know!

Hey all, my gf just moved to Boston so I might as well try to start trying to hock my books to people in the locale.

Check out the books I need/have.... my textbooks
» okay
http://www.loftarasa.org is the new home for the textbook exchange...

I'm just hung on how to organize it. The "Other Stuff" link I'm going to leave unorganized by colleges.

The textbook category I'm not sure about... I'm thinking I should arrange it by college. But there are two issues:

1. Colleges tend to use the same textbooks as other colleges. So if a BU student can't find the right textbook in the BU category, he or she might give up, even if the book is for sale in the BC category. There is a good search engine on that script though, so this shouldn't be much of a problem.

2. It would be hard to find out what courses are offered in each school. Just looking at the names of the colleges -- there's Art Institute of Boston, and there's Wentworth Institute of Technology. It would be a waste of time if I just added "Math, Science, Art, English" categories to both schools.

I need input. Thanks.
